Her Beauty

Such timeless beauty
Such a beautiful face
Makes the heart race
The mind upon beauty
Heart skips a beat
So far away
A lusty weep

The man Who Sits on the Curb

I park my Jeep on a back road when I am going to one of my hangouts. There is always a man sitting on the curb staring at nothing. Each time I pass by he tells me hello, he never asks for money.

His clothes are dingy, his hair is matted, and his eyes seem dead.

But when I pass by and tell him Hi his eyes light up and he seems alive again.

He does not want money he just wants to be acknowledged, he just wants people to know he exists.

She Sleeps

Alabaster skin
Contrast on red silk sheets
Blonde hair a tangled mess
Upon a pillow
Breathing softly
As she sleeps
Her beauty
Can make a man weep
As she sleeps
Like an angel
Upon red

Haiku

Drunken state of mind
One cannot seem to find it
Peace of mind I seek

Just a thought

What is life without love?
